Interventional Cardiology

Commissioned by Optima Skills for their client Core Aalst, this was a collection of illustrations used throughout a large series of presentations for the 16th Edition of their Physiology course Physiology 2024: A New Wave, a conference held in Belgium. https://www.coreaalst.com/physiology

The aim of the course is to allow interventional cardiologists to 'integrate coronary physiology into [their] daily practice, with a focus on hands-on experience and new technologies'

I headed up the medical illustration side of the operation and acted as the 'Clinical Bridge' between the physicians and other designers to ensure the complex medical topics could be analysed and communicated accurately and effectively.

This was a huge undertaking and steep learning curve with a quick turnaround. The end result of which was a great success.

All illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator, storyboards also created on Illustrator formatted for input into Adobe After Effects.
